What is the best time to visit Yasuní?
Yasuní can be visited year-round, as each season offers unique experiences.
In the Ecuadorian Amazon, there are no clearly defined seasons like in other destinations, so biodiversity remains active throughout the year.
Rainier months may offer better conditions for canoe navigation, while drier periods make it easier to explore the forest trails. In both cases, there are always incredible opportunities for wildlife observation.
Is it guaranteed that I will see animals during my visit?
The Amazon is a completely natural ecosystem, so specific wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.
However, Yasuní National Park is one of the most biodiverse places on the planet, and our expert guides maximize the chances of encountering wildlife during every activity.
In most cases, guests are able to observe a wide variety of species, making each experience unique and unforgettable.
Do activities require a certain level of fitness?
Our activities are designed to suit different levels of physical fitness.
We offer walks and excursions of varying intensity, and our guides adjust the pace according to each group’s needs.
You don’t need to be an experienced traveler—just a willingness to explore and enjoy nature.
How does my visit contribute to conservation?
Every stay at Yasuní Ecolodge creates a direct positive impact on the conservation of the territory and the well-being of the Kichwa Añangu Community.
Tourism helps protect the forest, preserve ecosystems in their natural state, and support initiatives in education, health, and sustainable development.
By choosing this destination, you become part of a responsible tourism model that actively contributes to protecting one of the most biodiverse places on Earth
