An evolution born from the territory
Yasuní Ecolodge was born as a natural evolution of our story in the Ecuadorian Amazon. More than a name change, it represents a clearer and more authentic way of communicating what we have always been: an experience deeply connected to the rainforest, its biodiversity, and the territory protected by the Kichwa Añangu Community. For years, this project has allowed travelers from around the world to discover one of the planet’s most extraordinary ecosystems while directly supporting conservation and community development. Today, we felt it was the right moment to align our identity with what truly defines this experience: the Yasuní. A name that represents the essence of the rainforest Yasuní National Park is one of the most biodiverse places on Earth and one of the last great wildlife refuges in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Its forests are home to thousands of species of plants, birds, mammals, amphibians, and insects, creating a unique ecosystem where life reveals itself in every corner of the jungle.
For this reason, adopting the name Yasuní Ecolodge also means reconnecting our identity with the territory that gives life to this experience. From the very first moment, we want travelers to understand that here they will find untouched nature, incredible wildlife, adventure, and a genuine connection with the Amazon.
Because when someone hears the word “Yasuní,” they do not simply think of a destination.
They think of the rainforest in its purest form.
A conservation story led by the community
Talking about Yasuní Ecolodge also means talking about the Kichwa Añangu Community. For more than 30 years, the community has worked to protect this territory, demonstrating that sustainable tourism can become a real tool for rainforest conservation while creating opportunities for future generations.
The return of emblematic species, such as the Red-and-green Macaw, reflects the positive impact of these conservation efforts. Today, this bird has become a symbol of biodiversity, recovery, and hope within the territory.
Every experience within the lodge is connected to this purpose: protecting the rainforest while sharing its beauty with the world.
An authentic experience in the Ecuadorian Amazon
At Yasuní Ecolodge, adventure unfolds naturally in every experience. Walks along wildlife-filled trails, canopy towers overlooking the forest, canoe excursions, and visits to parrot clay licks allow travelers to immerse themselves in one of the world’s most fascinating ecosystems while discovering the extraordinary richness of flora and fauna found in the Ecuadorian Amazon.
Here, the experience is not centered around a conventional trip. It is about experiencing the rainforest in a way that feels authentic, intimate, and deeply immersive.
More than a name change
Yasuní Ecolodge represents a new chapter, one that allows us to express more strongly our identity, our territory, and our commitment to the conservation of the Ecuadorian Amazon. Because this place has always been much more than a lodge.
It is a story of community, biodiversity, and connection with nature. And today, that story has a name that represents it better than ever before.
